One of the things that I didn’t think about was that as I became more and more active. More and more opportunities would present themselves. So I kept a running list of these “not yet” opportunities. I’m learning that I have a real issue with saying “no” or even “not yet.” I’m not sure why but I always feel as if I’m leaving something on the table. But to become truly great at my craft, I have to focus a lot more. So far 60 days I’ve been done a good job but there’s a lot of work still do and making a list has helped me to see where those opportunities are.
